Remote First Aid and CPR/AED Level C (formally known as the Basic level of Wilderness & Remote First Aid) covers material in Standard First Aid & CPR, plus special skills and techniques for wilderness and remote areas. Course also offers strategies for providing extended care for up to 24 hours. Part of the course is taught in an outdoor setting and requires greater physical activity and endurance than typical first aid training. Suitable for those who work or live in remote locations or who are outdoor recreation enthusiasts.

This course is recognized by WSIB for workplace first aid requirements under reg. 1101.

The course cost includes Red Cross Wilderness First Aid Field guide and certification.

Duration: 20 hours

Completion: 100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% min. passing grade on written exam

Certification : 3-year certification in Remote First Aid & CPR/AED Level C (Course is formally known as Wilderness & Remote First Aid or Basic Wilderness).
