Remote & Wilderness Instructor Course

This 2 day course is for existing Red Cross instructors of another discipline that wish to now instruct the Remote or Wilderness First Aid Courses.

Pre-requisite:

  • Current Red Cross Instructor (FAI, PRI, or PFAI).
  • Learner Level Remote First Aid & CPR/AED Level C (Formally called “Wilderness & Remote First Aid” the 20 hr course)

OR

  • Current Red Cross Instructor (FAI, PRI, or PFAI).
  • Learner Level Wilderness First Aid & CPR/AED Level C (Formally called “Advanced Wilderness” the 40 hr course)

Steps to obtain certification (After registered):

  • Skills Assessment
  • Fundamentals of Instruction online + 2 days in class
  • Teaching Experience
  • Certification
