This course provides essential first aid training for responding to emergencies.  Learners will develop knowledge and skills in CPR, AED use, choking response, circulation emergencies, wound care, and more.

Course curriculum meets the requirements for the Federal or Provincial authority having jurisdiction over first aid training for the workplace.

This course aligns with CSA (Canadian Standards Association) Basic First Aid (Z1210-17). Ideal for workplaces, community members, and anyone seeking basic first aid certification for use at work, in the community, or at home.

Required course for companies with 1-5 employees.

To register please choose from the following:

Level of CPR/AED training included in your Emergency First Aid certification.

• Level A – CPR Sequences on Adults
• Level C – CPR Sequences on Adults, Children and Babies
• Level BLS – Basic Life Support, CPR sequences for heath care providers that work in a facility or group response setting (formally known as HCP)

Choose the Delivery Method:

• The Traditional Classroom has an interactive in the classroom experience where learners gain all the first aid knowledge and skills practice led by a First Aid Instructor. This is a 1 day course (8 hours scheduled)

• The Blended Learning has a mix of knowledge obtained online through independent learning and classroom skills. Once registered you will your own unique pin code and password to access the Red Cross Learning Campus. The online portion needs to be completed before the scheduled skills session. This is just 4.5-5 hours in class.
